Bound Angels - awareness • education • rescue • rehabilitation

Each year millions of shelter animals are murdered due to a broken shelter system.  Ironically called “shelters,” they are holding areas for animals to be killed.  Animals that once were family pets and have grown accustom to a quality of life in a home, are forced to live on cement floors in steel cages, imprisoned for a crime they did not commit.  These animals are deprived human interaction, and at their greatest hope have a 40% chance for adoption.  The end to the cycle for these animals is inevitable death.

Our mission at Bound Angels is to bring animal suffering to the forefront, encourage people to care for their animals, adopt shelter animals, spay and neuter their pets.  Bound Angels strives to change the public policy on “kill shelters,” expose animals’ suffering and fight for the rights of those that cannot fight for themselves.

awareness for the abandoned

Bound Angels is dedicated to media awareness and public education.  Our edgy, and sometimes controversial campaigns speak for the animals that do not have a voice of their own.

Bound Angels was founded by Robert Cabral.  Robert’s dedication and creative approach to changing the lives of these animals has led to the creation of the Shelter Angel Video Program, which has proven a 100% success rate in adopting dogs and cats from city shelters through creative youtube videos.

Over the past several years Bound Angels has spearheaded a new approach toward marketing dogs doomed in shelters, fought court battles for dogs sentenced to death and created media campaigns to bring attention to our shelter crisis.

Bound Angels is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established to give a voice to animals.

More than 5,000,000 animals are killed in our nations’ shelters each year.  Bound Angels is here to make a difference; to create awareness and educate people about responsible pet stewardship; work with shelters to increase adoptions; rehabilitate dogs that have behavioral issues; and put an end to the shelter system as we currently know it.

Bound Angels Viral Campaigns for dog adoption have a 100% success rate.  All of the Bound Angels dogs featured on our You Tube channel have been adopted, re-homed or rescued.  Creating a compelling media campaign can mean the difference between a dog getting adopted or slipping through the cracks.  Bound Angels’ viral ads are used to help individual dogs get adopted and to educate other rescue groups and shelters about how to create powerful campaigns to advocate on behalf of animals.

Bound Angels Viral PSA’s command attention, and the more people we reach, the more animals we save.  Thousands of viewers watch You Tube and log on to www.boundangels.tv.  Our 30-second Public Service Announcements increase awareness and educate targeted demographics and communities.  Our goal is to reach millions of viewers over the next several years.  Opportunities are available to underwrite print and network television campaigns currently in development.

Bound Angels provides materials and “hands-on” guidance with advocating for animal rights and care; from the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs deemed “hopeless” or un-adoptable” to court appearances on behalf of animals. We are limited by resources, not in spirit.  There are many stories of dogs currently living happy, loving lives that would have been a mere statistic if not for our efforts and the financial support of our friends.

Bound Angels Information & Dissemination Programs include contemporary advertising posters available to local and national rescue groups.  These edgy campaigns encourage people to adopt, foster and care for homeless, needy pets that are at risk of being killed in our shelter system.

Our programs are supported by your generous support, and we thank you on behalf of the many animals that rely on Bound Angels for help each year.
